Pigmentation spots are often the result of overexposure to the sun and prolonged exposure to blue light. They can also result from physical factors such as inflammation (burns, eczema, acne, etc.), rubbing, a reaction to a perfume or medication or a hormonal change.
A number of factors that promote the appearance of different types of pigmentation spots: mask of pregnancy, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun spots and age spots…
