VelaShape III expands its offering

Its not everyday that we at SAI feel the need to invest in more technology, such is our comprehensive offering throughout our SAI branches. That is until the expanded offering of VelaShape III upped the ante to include a comprehensive treatment protocol to include arms, face & neck. This addition is defanging reason why we purchased another VelaShape III for the SAI Waterkloof branch.

How does VelaShape III work?

VelaShape III uses a triple action treatment protocol that includes:

• Vacuum & Manipulation
• Infrared (IR)
• Bi-Polar Radio Frequency

It is called elōs technology and in essence the combination specifically targets fat cells & surrounding tissue to gently heat & massage the treatment area to break down cellulite & fat.

What does this new treatment inclusion mean?

VelaShape III elōs technology delivers high energy RF precisely & safely a smaller handpiece to treat smaller areas including:

• Arms – upper arms often cause self-consciousness due to flabby & loose skin. Using skin tightening techniques VelaShape III can now treat this area for a firmer upper arm.
• Face – With lifting techniques using VelaShape in the face can aid in recreating a youthful appearance. VelaShape III can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other non-surgical facelift techniques.
• Neck – an often-overlooked part of the ageing makeover, the neck is an integral part of reducing your visible age. We can now tighten the skin in the neck area using VelaShape III.

All the above protocols have produced superb results with high patient satisfaction. The face & neck do require more care during treatment simply due to the anatomy of the area, which includes thinner skin & less tissue coverage; whereas the arms benefit from the smaller handpiece due to the smaller treatment area. When treating the more common areas for circumference reduction & cellulite reduction including the thighs, stomach & buttocks it makes sense that VelaShape III was launched with a larger handpiece.
