Exquisite Eyebrows – What is Microblading?
Microblading is a procedure that enhances the appearance of the eyebrows. Microblading does not make use of a traditional tattooing machine but it is done completely by hand. During treatment a qualified technician relies a special tool referred to a microblade. This tool is unique in that it is able to hold many different sized needles depending on what will be required to achieve an individual’s desired look. These needles are used to expertly place small amounts of tattoo ink under the skin surface. In this way, new very-fine hair-like lines are drawn exactly where they are needed. With precision, a skilful microblading practitioner can create a new natural-looking eyebrow, fill in gaps or create volume to alter your existing brow-line.
What can be achieved with microblading is extraordinary! Microblading is an excellent option if you long for exquisite eyebrows to accent & complete your look.
The Art of Aesthetics: How to get the Best Results from Microblading
Technique is everything! Practitioners who work with semi-permanent makeup are required to possess certain qualifications. There is absolutely no substitute for the required certifications. While these credentials form the basis of safe & hygienic microblading techniques and practice; the process of achieving distinct appearances for a range of individuals requires a skill that goes beyond simply being trained. This is because once the technique and tools have been mastered the difference in results largely depends on the ‘talent’ or ‘aptitude’ of a practitioner.
To get the most out of your investment in microblading, don’t compromise. Select a reputable and experienced professional.

The Procedure
Microblading should never be rushed! Depending on your unique circumstance the procedure may take between 30 minutes to two hours. Most individuals do not report discomfort during microblading. Topical numbing crème is applied to ensure one’s comfort. The procedure starts with fine lines being drawn in removable ink. These serve as a both a guide and template that outlines the boundaries of where your new brows will extend too. The technician will then choose the specific colour ink as well as the needle or needles perfectly sized to create your new dream eyebrows.
Recovery & Results
Microblading does not require downtime. There may be some swelling, slight redness, or sensitivity on the site. This can be soothed with cold compresses or Homecare products. It takes around 3 weeks for the colouring to settle into its final shade.
Is Microblading Permanent or Temporary?
Microblading is considered to be a Semi-Permanent treatment. The amount of ink used is relatively meagre and as it is not placed deep within the dermis it can be expected to fade with time. Immediate results may last from 1 to 3 years. After which a touch-up may be necessary.
